Need some advice for this girl I work with!!?

Theres this girl i've been working with at this cafe/restaurant for about 9 months now. She's very pretty and fun to talk to. I have really only been having strong feelings for her in the past 4 weeks, and we've gone out to grab dinner together just as friends. She's 17 and I am 19 and it feels like she is a bit shy about the whole situation. All my past girlfriends, I have had such an easy time talking to because they were so open. This makes it hard for me to talk to her because I am not used to flirting with such a shy person. So i guess my question is, how do I get closer to this shy-girl and find out if shes into me or not?Need some advice for this girl I work with!!?
