I need advice about this girl situation... PLease help?

There was this girl in my college class and I had a crush on her for the first year and the last two years I think the crush turned into love. I found that she is single at the end of the third year. I asked her out to lunch and she said yes at first. Then she calls me a week later and says no in a crues fashion, she made fun of me and stuff olike that and in return I said that I want her to be happy since she was and forever will be my first love. I want her to be happy even if it was not with me but with the person of her own choice. She was all quiet at that time and hung up the phone. This all took place a year and two months ago. We were both 22 at the time. SO last week I see her at a pizza place with her BF and she says hi and her BF just makes more fun of me. I am not afraid of him because i am bigger and stronger than him. So I just left.


Was I right by saying that I want her to be happy and not cussing her out in return?


What should I do if her BF does this again?I need advice about this girl situation... PLease help?
awww i feel bad for you ; ( but you will find your true love one day. That was a very good choice in what you said it shows her you still really care about her and you were kind enough not to get all pissed and cuss here out that was awesome what you did . I dont know really what to say if her BF does this again i dont see why he would make fun of you for asking her out and walking away was good it is best not to get in a fight but if it gets really bad i would tell him how you feel . Ignore her.Why do u want to be made fun of yourself again and again?U did right by saying that u want her to be happy because trust me that would have definitely left a small but sweet memory of yours in her heart,if u had curse her she would always remember u as a bad someone or memory so just forget all that and move on in life.Be happy:)
