Dance piece with a girl who i dont like? advice?

im in a ballet piece with a girl who i really dont like and she feels the same and it is sooo awkward :-( what to do????Dance piece with a girl who i dont like? advice?
I've got a friends who's great at his work., he performs. He's had to deal working with another male who also gets lead rolls but they have many differences and I'm almost sure they've expressed their hate for each other before. They always put on a great performance on stage though.

Think of the dance floor as a stage, step into your roll, and forget your differences there, you're there to do a job, dance, not to like the other person.

People in the audience will notice if there's tension between two people working together, that never stands well...sooo my advice is to just dance with her not thinking of who she is, just listen to the music and concentrate on your moves, hers as well if it's a duet and know that you won't always have to dance with her. Plus, if your teacher sees that you don't get along with her and do nothing to mask it then she might put you girls together more often until you learn to do so, wouldn't want that, now would you? =]

Listen to the music, learn your moves, be professional about the situation.

Good Luck! :]Dance piece with a girl who i dont like? advice?
If the dance is that important, than be professional and give the dance all you've got for the sake of doing a good job. This shows that you have a strong character and may help the girl to do her best as well, which should ease the awkwardness.

I wish you well.
I guess you need to talk to your teacher about it. If not, don't let it become a problem, just try to enjoy the dance and forget about who you're dancing with.
the show must go on. So take her aside to explain this sentiment. Both of you make your piece and once you start talking who knows, you may even like each other.
